The Flame Glows Brighter

He did it again! Another door has opened as the Lord made a way for us to minister at Inner Harbor Hospital, a large facility in Douglasville, Georgia which serves as temporary home for over one hundred young residents, ages six to eighteen. Many of these children come from abusive backgrounds and are dealing with drug addition, sexual abuse, behavioral difficulties, as well as emotional and learning disabilities.

On our first visit, we were able to leave the children a large number of stuffed animals. We thank Mrs. Suzanne Spruill, Community Relations Coordinator, for her warm and extensive orientation interview concerning this large facility and its various programs. We are excited about the many ways we can bring the love of the Lord to these hurting children.

Our hearts also remain concerned for the wonderful young men in the prisons here in Georgia. Please write, and pray for them and their families in fulfillment of Matthew 25:36. (See Jonathan Update and Encouraging News.)

Another area of this ministry, involving the Messianic movement, continues to grow. We had many opportunities to share our Judaic roots through, Seders, Shabbat celebrations, church and school presentations and Hebrew lessons. Even our little grandsons can now say their prayers in Hebrew. Mazel Tov!
