Hanukkah Story

During the month of December, Diane was invited to give a presentation on Hanukkah to the children at Allgood School in Dallas, Georgia. Through the use of games and songs, she helped this ancient post-biblical holiday come to life. The children eagerly grasped the meaning of this Festival of Lights which commemorates the victory over cruel king Antiochus by the Maccabees and the subsequent rededication of the Temple. Their freedom to worship had been restored!
