A Word From John
by John Creamer III

Hello. My name is John and I would like to tell you how I came to know Jesus, John Creamer III - 1999my Lord and Savior.

The Lord blessed me with a great memory so that I could remember things that happened in my life. I believe the Lord blessed me with a great memory for a reason.

I have a lot of memories from growing up especially in some of the places I lived and things I saw. Without going into detail, I’m here to tell you that there are evil people out there who work for Satan. I believe the Lord showed me that for a purpose. Now, I think about it, tell people about it, and how wrong it is. The Lord loved me, blessed me and protected me from evil so that I could judge wrong from right.

My family used to move all the time, so I was always changing schools and neighborhoods. We were poor so you can imagine how hard it was, especially having to make new friends. Somehow, it was easy for me to make friends with anyone, so I had a lot of friends and I used to hate it when it would be time to move again. I would miss my friends so much. For a while, I was doing good, staying out of trouble and going to school. I always felt responsible for myself so I’ve always taken care of myself and people helped me along the way. The Lord gave me a survival technique that helps a lot. He gave me school knowledge and street knowledge so I could learn to help others and myself.

As the years passed, I started to hang with the wrong crowd and doing some wrong things. I knew they were wrong but did the same things everyone else did to be down with the boys.

Well, one thing leads to another and habits get worse. I got in deeper and deeper until I couldn’t tell who I was any more. I can say, when I committed my crime, it was completely accidental because I never meant to hurt anybody. For that matter, I never hurt anybody before that. But it happened and I never thought it could happen to someone like me but it did. So, the truth is that I hurt someone close to me, not meaning to do so. I was in so deep I didn’t know what was going on.

Within the first couple of months of being incarcerated, the Lord talked to me so much. He showed me so much love, more love than I had ever felt. So then, I became interested in the Word of God and got my life right with the Lord. I had gotten saved and baptized in the Holy Spirit and I felt so much better and life was much easier. Even though I was incarcerated at the time, it didn’t even feel like it any more, because the Lord blessed me with so many friends and so much support that I couldn’t believe my eyes.

I would like to end here and encourage you to hear the message that the Lord has for you. He is waiting for you to come, know, trust, and, most important, believe in Him so that you can have eternal life in Him. Believe me, He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

May God bless you.
